The worshippers, or vampire worshippers, were a subclass of humans active during the events of Soul Reaver. They were humans who worshipped the vampires of Kain's empire as if they were gods.
Worshippers were present in the Soul Reaver alphas but were only seen sparingly. They were not found in the Silenced Cathedral, but were instead found in the City and only one Adept was present, placed in the 'City 9' area outside the temple and passage leading to the Undercity. No worshippers were found in the Undercity itself - although the area was notably unfinished and they may have been intended to feature there. The Knife weapon of the adepts could be picked up and used when dropped.
Notes
The ultimate fate of individual Vampire Worshippers is unknown - those deemed worthy may have eventually been recruited to become vampires themselves.
