Legacy of Kain Wiki

Well, so far 2020 has been an interesting year in the real world with things being both hectic and winding down, making for an unprecedented few months. Here at the wiki it's been relatively quiet - but there are good reasons for this and there is some furious work going on behind the scenes.

In terms of article updates the articles for Cenobite summoners, Guardian constructs and Vampire golems were concluded, finishing off the Defiance enemies category - while the article for the Turelim and Dumahim were polished to navigate us toward Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.

Away from the Wiki there have been a number of updates to the Magazine Archive: bringing to the fore a number of images apparently unknown to the wider community. Development on Denis Dyack's 'spiritual successor' Deadhaus Sonata continues and Denis himself has been kind enough to do a few Q&A sessions with various fans to illuminate some of the questions fans still have regarding Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain.

One of these led to the final exposure of the HMCS Bitter: known for about a decade to be present in the game, Denis's stream kicked off a series of events that finally led - after 24 years, no less - to the discovery of how to legitimately access the area by triggering invisible switches at the Land of the Nemesis, Ziegsturhl, Malek's Bastion and the region southeast of Willendorf.

It won't be the last major discovery this year. The storm is on the horizon. Baziel (talk) 09:47, April 30, 2020 (UTC)
