A dark gift used by Kain. This spell created a magical shell around Kain. Until it wore off, he was protected against all enemy attacks, including all types of projectile, effectively making it a kind of temporary 'invincibility'. In the opening video of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2 Kain uses this gift in his fight against Raziel. In defiance Kain is able to use this gift with his Telekinesis, but this shield appears more short-lived. In Defiance Raziel can perform this maneuver after he absorbs the soul of his brother Turel to enhance his telekinetic powers. It is unknown if the energy shields shown in defiance are of telekinetic or magical composition.
