The Reflectors, also known as the Reflector Shields, were a pair of identical puzzle objects obtained and used by Raziel in the Light Forge in Soul Reaver 2.
The Reflector was a circular golden disk artifact with a Light symbol marked on the face of the disk. Once gained the Reflector significantly limited Raziel's abilities - preventing him from Climbing, Gliding, entering Combat, manipulating objects or DevouringSouls. If placed on the ground, the key would quickly return to its point of origin.[Soul Reaver 2][Soul Reaver 2 manual]
Placing the Reflector in an empty holder in the 'large pillar room' of the forge Raziel was able to use the shield to reflect sunlight onto a light-activated door and open his way further through the forge. A second Reflector shield (once again held by a Greater thrall and gained by defeating it) would be encountered later in the same forge, with this also placed nearby to open light-activated doors and enable Raziel to pass through the forge unimpeded, so he could gain access to the Light Forge key.[Soul Reaver 2][Soul Reaver 2/4][Soul Reaver 2 strategy guide (Prima)]

Greater Thrall holding Reflector Shield in SR2 bonus materials
The Reflectors act similarly to the earlier Sun Disk seen in the Dark Forge - being placed to reflect Sunlight-rays through the forge. Despite their similarity in use and appearance, the markings on the two are different, with the Reflectors decorated with the Light Reaver symbol.[Soul Reaver 2]
The Reflector Shields also act like the Emblem keys seen in other forges as they are gained from 'Shield'-bearing Greater thralls and are ultimately used to open doorways within the forge.[Soul Reaver 2]
Though similarly named, the Reflector Shields are not to be confused with the large rotatable 'Reflectors' seen in the Light and Dark Forges - which although reflecting light within a forge, are defined as 'Rotatable objects' rather than 'Puzzle objects'.[Soul Reaver 2 manual]
