Prestige is a measure of the comprehensiveness of a player's exploration of Nosgoth, recorded throughout Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain. It is accessible via the status menu, and displays as a title. The title varies based on the number of slayings Kain has performed throughout the course of play, and the number of secrets found.[1]
There are eleven possible prestige ranks.[2] All Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain games commence with Kain classed as a "Whelp", whereas the highest achievable title is monikered "Devourer of Worlds".[1] Prestige does not influence gameplay in any way and does not yield any ingame rewards, but it is displayed at the end of the game along with other statistics.[2]

- In their Blood Omen Plot FAQ, Silicon Knights state that "it was late at night when we came up with [the prestige titles]". In the same FAQ, they erroneously state that the "Devourer of Worlds" status requires all secrets to be found, although the player need not locate all 100 of them to achieve it.[1][2]
- The above titles are numbered 0-10. The title you have is slayings x secret multiplier divided by 1250. The secret multiplier starts at 1 and increases for every 20 secrets, up to 6.
