The Piercing Pistols were weapons for the Prophet class in Nosgoth. They were alternatives to the default Dual Pistols.

Behind the scenes

The Piercing Pistols were described as "modified flintlocks with piercing ammunition that [cause] bleeding damage over time on impact."^[NOS]

The alternatives to the Dual Pistols were:

• Dual Pistols
• Heavy Pistols
• Quick Pistols

Four Piercing Pistols variations with unique visual and audio effects were produced: spectral; balefire; magma; and witchfire. These were respectively named:

• Devil's Piercing Pistols
• Winter Piercing Pistols
• Molten Piercing Pistols
• Occult Piercing Pistols

The Piercing Pistols are referred to as "Weapon_Pistols_Piercing" in the Nosgoth game data.
