Changes: Moebius's Hourglass

Moebius's Hourglass was a token of power gifted to Moebius by the Pillars of Nosgoth. It allowed Moebius to sift through the sands of time giving him dominion over past, present and future. During the events of Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, Moebius manipulated the fledgeling vampire Kain into altering the course of time by assassinating the young King William the Just, who Kain knew would in time become the Nemesis. Upon his return to his own time Kain found that Moebius had used Kain's actions to instigate a genocidal war against vampires leaving Kain as the last of his kind. Kain decapitated Moebius and claimed the Hourglass as his token of power.

Returning to the Pillars, Kain placed Moebius's Hourglass before the corrupted Pillar of Time. The Pillar accepted its offering and for a very short time was restored.
