Magic spheres were a type of powerup item in Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain. They restored Kain's magic energy.

Profile

Magic spheres came in five different colors and sizes, which indicated different strengths. Purple spheres were smallest and weakest, replenishing a small amount of depleted magic energy; stronger and larger were blue; then green; orange; and strongest and largest were red spheres, which filled Kain's energy to its present maximum capacity.^{[Blood Omen][Blood Omen strategy guide]}

Magic spheres, like blood beakers, blood vials, and rune triangles, could not be stored in Kain's inventory. They were immediately consumed when collected.^{[Blood Omen][Blood Omen strategy guide]}
