The Lake was to the west of the Land of the Nemesis, and Kain had to fight his way through many of the Legions of the Nemesis to reach it. The Lake had a large island in the middle which was dominated by the home of Elzevir the Dollmaker, the island was connected by a land bridge on the eastern side of the Lake. The Lake was patrolled by several life size animated dolls.
The Lake is aptly named considering it's sole occupant, Elzevir the Dollmaker was known for stealing souls, particularly within the story of Blood Omen, when he stole the soul of the Princess of Willendorf and imprisoned it in a doll.
