In The Crossfire is a musical track which appeared in the first promotional trailer for Legacy of Kain: Defiance.[1] Written by Bryan New and Craig Joiner, it originally appeared on a library music CD named Nu Rock Muthas, and was released by Connect.[2]
As a third-party theme intended only for one-time use in the trailer, In The Crossfire does not appear in the Legacy of Kain series itself, and can only be obtained externally.

- In The Crossfire is notable as the only form of rock music officially affilitated with Legacy of Kain. It is also a highly-coveted track which, according to The Lost Worlds, "many fans tried in vain to obtain".[2]
