In this Chapter, Kain can collect 2 Health talismans, 1Telekinesis Rune and 2 Arcane tomes. Kain can also collect the Lightning Reaver enhancement and the Quest Items the Wheel of Life, the Rusted Scales and the Carved Stone Skull.
Enemies in this level include the returning Lesser shades, Tentacles and Vampire golems alongside the debuting Feral humans (male), Feral humans (female), Greater shades and Guardian constructs
Kain has the main objectives "Explore the ancient Citadel", "Find the missing Balance Emblem fragment" and "Return to terrace gate with the Lightning Emblem" and the minor objectives "Find the missing gate seal", "Unlock gate with Wheel of Life", "Find warp gate to the Light area", "Find warp gate to Fire area", "Find warp gate to Water area", "Find Death and States relics", "Use relics to open Sealed door", "Acquire the Lightning Emblem", Return to the Fire area via warp gate", Return to the Light area via warp gate", Return to terrace via warp gate" and "Unlock terrace gate".
